Story County Kiwanis Rewarded for Philantrophy

The Story County Kiwanis clubs were honored by the Story County Philanthropy Alliance recently for our contributions to children service and other public agencies in Story County.  Part of the recognition was a wall clock.  The wall clock is being offered by a silent bidding auction to all Story County Kiwanis members.  Proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to the Kiwanis International Project Eliminate in the name

of the highest bidder and the club to which that member belongs.  Bids are being taken on a weekly basis and reported to Jody Melcher each Saturday.  She, in turn, will announce the highest bid for that week and previous bidders and others will have the opportunity to re-bid.  The auction will continue until January 31st.

The clock is a hand-blown glass clock approximately 12 inches in diameter.  It can be mounted on a wall.  It is blue in color.

Bids from Golden K members should be forwarded  to Larry Trede, Club Secretary  (l.trede@mchsi.com) or given to him in writing at a Thursday club meeting.
