The Golden K Singers again provided the entertainment for the 2015 Officer Installation service for Ames Golden K Kiwanis.  The finale of the 20-minute show was The Pirates of Penzance — Choral Highlights as arranged by Michael Rosewall from the original Gilbert and Sullivan masterpiece.  Amid the swords, pistols, eye patches and hand-hooks, the pirates prevailed!

Here the Modern Major General  (aka Richard Wood) feigned a struggle to find a mathematical term to rhyme with “news,”  settling on the famous line, “with many cheerful facts about the square of the hypotenuse!”
