Attendance:  62 members, 2 guests

The meeting was called to order by President-Elect Jim Cornette.

Sharing Time and Announcements:

1.      Member in News.  Dennis Keeney had an article in this week’s Ames Tribune.

 

2.      PR Person.  Jim Cornette announced that club is still in need of a PR person.  Contact him immediately if interested.

 

3.     Community Service Hours.  Cornette reminded members to fill out the Community Service Hours Sheet for time in January, 2015.

 

4.     Pancake Days.  Tickets can still be picked up and sold.  Pancake Days are March 5-7th.

 

5.     Ames Choral Society.  A $500 check was presented to the Ames Choral Society as part of our charity donation program.  Funds will be used to purchase “Kinder Music” to be used by children this summer in a concert being planned in conjuction with Ames 150th celebration.  Steve Belin received the check on behalf of the Ames Choral Society.

 

Humor.  Provided by Tom Leimer

 

Program.  Provided by Miranda Leek, ISU student and Olympic archer.  She competed at the recent London Olympics and demonstrated the use of the equipment and talk about her experiences being an Olympian.  Many questions asked and answered!!
