Attendance:  72 members, 3 guests

Location:  First United Methodist Church

The meeting was called to order by President Dick Wilson at 9:30 am.

Opening ceremonies were led by Gene Pollmann

Invocation given by Bill Cook

Announcements & Sharing Time.

1. Keith Peterson.  Tom Peter reported that Keith Peterson has been hospitalized with some heart issues.

2. Doug Provow.  Announced that he has a new great granddaughter.

3. Bill Mengeling.  Undergoing rehabilitation in Ankeny Rehab center.

4. John Slaughter.  Presented certificate as a Project Eliminate Zeller Donor.

New Business.

1. Adopt-A-Road Service Project.  Gene Pollmann is circulating sign-up sheets for our 2-mile road clean-up project to be held on May 14^th, Holub Parking Lot, 12:30 pm

2. Memorial Day Parade.  Pollmann also indicated that he is looking for two people to ride with him in the Memorial Day Parade.

3. Election of Officers/Directors.  Wilson announced the slate of officers/directors for 2015-16 to be elected today, as follows:

President – Jim Cornette

President-Elect – Pete Peterson

Vice President – Glen Hillesland

Past President – Dick Wilson

Secretary- Larry Trede

Treasurer – Wayne Hagemoser

Webmaster – Joe Traylor

Director (term expires 10/1/17) – Dennis Senne

Director (term expires 10/1/17) – Ron Skrdla

Director (term expires 10/1/17) – Bob Sperry

Director (term expires 10/1/16) – Milt Allison

Motion by Ed Augustine, seconded by Chuck Glotfelty that the proposed slate of officers be elected by unanimous ballot.  Motion carried.

Humor.  Given by Larry Vallery

Program.  “Honeybees:  What They Do For Us,” by Gabrielle Hewmesath, American Honeybee Queen. 

The meeting was adjourned by Wilson at 10:30 am.
