Attendance:  71 members, 4 guests

Location:  First United Methodist Church

The meeting was called to order by President Dick Wilson at 9:30 am.  Invocation was given by George Beran.  Opening ceremonies were led by Roger Andersen.

Announcements/Sharing Time:

1. Jack Adams.  Joe Traylor announced that Jack Adams has entered hospice care.  Has battled cancer for a long time.

2. Duane Brodie.  Progress is slow.  Had a tracheal tube inserted to assist in breathing.

3. Wes Buchele.  Condolences to Wes and his family upon the death of his son due to liver cancer.

4. Senior Variety Show Tickets.  Available from Ken Larson.

Humor.  Provided by Tom Peter.

Program.  “Our Iowa Magazine,” by Jerry Wiebel.  Jerry talked about the development of the magazine and some of the most interesting stories that he has covered.

Next Week.  Program next week is “Ames:  How the City Functions” by Brian Philips.

The meeting was adjourned by Wilson at 10:30 am.
