Attendance:  63 members, 1 guest

Location:  First United Methodist Church

The meeting was called to order by President Don Muff at 9:30 a.m.  Opening ceremonies were led by Roger Andersen.  Invocation was given by Craig Ause. 

Announcements:

Members with November birthdays were introduced.

Jim Cornette and Tom Peter have been hospitalized.  Tom is home recovering from knee surgery.  Jim is expected to be home today after having a blood clot.

Dennis Senne was introduced as a guest and potential new member.

Humor was given by John Slaughter (substitute for Tom Peter).

Program:

“AMOS (A Mid-Iowa Organizing Strategy” by Paul Turner, Lead Organizer.  He spoke about some of their program efforts in the Ames area and commented and answered on many questions raised by club members. 

Next Week:

“DMACC – State of the College” by Dr. Rob Denson, President of Des Moines Area Community College.
