Location: First United Methodist Church
The meeting was called to order by President Don Muff at 9:30 a.m. Opening ceremonies were led by Roger Andersen. Invocation was given by Roger Andersen.
Announcements.
1. Paper Trailer. A check has been received for the last load of paper for recycling. Check was for 31,940 lbs. @ $0.015 per lb. or $479.10. Duane Brodie announced that members who have weekly responsibility for monitoring the trailer should probably check every day as people of have been bringing bundles of papers nearly every day recently.
2. Member Applicant. Ron Skrdla was introduced as a potential new member. Ron has applied for membership and Board approval is expected soon.
3. Interclub. John Johnson reported on a successful interclub to Ames Noon Club. Seven members participated. Another interclub is planned for the near future.
Pancake Tickets. Plenty of pancake tickets are available from Pete Peterson. Pete will have tickets before and after our weekly meetings until Pancake Days.
Humor. Humor was provided by Wayne Hagemoser.
Program. Jody Melcher updated the club on Project Eliminate. She showed the most recent video explaining the need for funds. She also outlined the requirements for Kiwanis clubs to become Model Clubs, Silver Clubs, or Bronze Clubs.
The meeting was adjourned by President Don Muff at 10:30 a.m.
