2. Tom Peter.  In attendance today.  Welcome back, Tom!!

3. Story County Dental Clinic.  Open house on Friday, 12.05.14, starting at 7:30 am.  All are welcome.

Announcements:

1. Bethesda Food Pantry Jar.  At the Board of Directors meeting today, a decision was made to discontinue the food pantry jar.  Food Pantry is one of our charity donations and felt that this was unnecessary duplication.

2. Kiwanis 100^th Anniversary.  Kiwanis will celebrate its 100^th anniversary on January 21^st.  Board is planning a special meeting on that date (Wednesday).  Featured speaker will be Bob Mitchell, Past District President.  Special 100^th birthday treats that day.  Details announced later.  Note that this meeting will be our weekly meeting.  Will not meet on Thursday.

3. Golden K Foundation.  Members reminded that if members need a year-end donation for tax purposes, donations can be made to the Ames Golden K Foundation.

Humor:  Provided by Les Thompson

Program:  “ISU Lunarobitics Club,” by Jason Hertoz and David Peiffer.  Excellent program on their national competition in the construction of a “lunar mining” robot.
