The meeting was called to order by President Dick Wilson at 9:30 am.

Sharing and Announcements:
1. John Johnson. Tom Peter announced that John Johnson had surgery on Wednesday. Had a small lesion on his liver and was expected to be released on Thursday.
2. Science Fair Judges Needed. Wilson announced that judges are needed for the Science Fair to be held today and Friday on the ISU campus.
3. Elementary Reading Project. In the absence of Jim Cornette, Wilson reported on the proposed reading project. Likely will work with Edwards Elementary School. Eight members (includes substitutes) will be needed. More information later.
4. Teen Maze. Duane Brodie reported that many volunteers are desperately needed for Teen Maze. Contact Brodie immediately if you are interested.
5. Paper Project. Paper trailer was full and new trailer in place today. So far, paper proceeds have totaled $6793.00
Humor. Given by Sandy Fleck.
Program. Today’s program was “Central Iowa Friendship Force” given by Patrick Brooks. He spoke about the many inbound and outbound trips available through Friendship Force
Next Week’s Program. “Opening Up Cuba: Good Idea or Bad Idea” by Stephen Schmitt, ISU Political Science Professor.
The meeting was adjourned by Wilson at 10:30 am.
