Location: St. Paul Lutheran Church
The meeting was called to order by President Dick Wilson at 9:30 a.m. Opening ceremonies were led by Gene Pollmann. Invocation was given by Bob Farr.
Announcements and Sharing:
1. Duane Brodie. John Slaughter announced that Duane is making some progress. Was very critically ill last weekend but has shown signs of improvement this week. Members interested keep up with Duane’s progress can go to the website: www.carryingbridge.org/visit/duanebrodie for information posted by the Brodie family.
2. Poker Run. To be held on August 2nd. Registration forms available. No late fee. Tom Peter is looking for 2 or 3 volunteers to help with registration, etc. at Brookside Park for about 2 hours.
3. Paul MacVey. Celebrating his 80th birthday today!!
4. 2015-2016 Committees. Jim Cornette passed out a handout listing the 2015-2016 committees. He will be setting up committees in about 2 weeks. Be sure to indicate your interest on committee assignments to Jim.
5. Child Serve. A $750 check was presented to Child Serve as part of our 2015 Charity Donation Program.
6. Senior Variety Show. Tickets ($10/each) are available.
