Location:  First United Methodist Church

The meeting was called to order by President Dick Wilson at 9:30 am.  Opening ceremonies were led by Roger Andersen.  Invocation was given by Bob Farr.

Announcements & Sharing Time.

1. Gene Pollmann.  Gene and his wife are celebrating their 55^th wedding anniversary.  Congratulations, Gene!!

2. Bill Mengeling.  Recuperating at home following extensive rehabilitation.

3. Duane Brodie.  Continues to make steady improvement.  Check his condition at Caringbridge.com 

4. Joe Traylor.  Wife had surgery yesterday.

5. Bob Studer.  Featured in an article about RAGBRAI.  Bob has participated in 35 consecutive years of RAGBRAI.  Congratulations, Bob!!

6. Bethesda Food Pantry.  Jim Cornette presented Rod Fischer, representing Bethesda Food Pantry, a check for $1500 as part of our charity donation program.  Rod thanked and group and indicated that they are looking for volunteers to work on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons.

Humor.  Given by Dennis Smith.

Program.  “Superweeds,” by Dr. Bob Hartzler, Extension Weed Specialist, ISU.

Next Week Program.  “Our Iowa Magazine,” by Jerry Weibel, Publisher.

The meeting was adjourned by Wilson at 10:30 am.
