Announcements

1.     Election officials.  We now have 24 signed up.  There is potential for 36 workers.

2.     Tom Peter judged that there was enough market to order new Kiwanis shirts

3.     Gene Pollman read the names of those working on the Highway clean up

4.     Dennis Keeney is giving a reading of his book, “The Keeney Place: A Life in the Heartland,” this evening at 7:00 in the Ames Public Library.

5.     Don Muff spoke of the “Run for the Roses” 5K and 10K races at 9:00 Sunday Oct 11, 9:00 Ames Middle School,
