Ames Golden K Kiwanis presented a check for $1100 to Ames Assault Care Center Extending Shelter and Support (ACCESS) on May 25.  The donation will be used to help supply safe temporary emergency sheltering and housing  for victims and their children.  Pictured left to right, Golden K’s Leo Runge, Cherie Torresi, ACCESS Director of Donor Relations, and Golden K’s Duane Brodie.
